The "Marine Molluscs in Jagna Bay, Bohol" is finally available for viewing and downloading for free! This catalogue is part of the DOST 7-funded research entitled "Studies and Creation of a Gene Bank of Phylum Mollusca from Bohol Sea," completed in December 2021. The study was conceptualized by Dr. Christopher C. Bernido and the late Dr. Maria Victoria Carpio-Bernido, with their vision to establish baseline data on the marine biodiversity in Jagna Bay.

The catalogue mainly features molluscs from 16 families of class Gastropoda and five families from class Bivalvia collected by the CVIF JAZC Marine Sciences Laboratory researchers and volunteers in Can-upao, Jagna, Bohol, in September 2021. It also includes mollusc collections from the 2016 Marine Science Camp conducted by the team of Prof. Baldomero Olivera of the University of Utah, headed by Dr. Noel A. Saguil with Jose Arbasto with the pioneering batch of Senior High School students at the Central Visayan Institute Foundation.

Limited copies of the printed version will be available soon at CVIF.
